Gian Piero Gasperini’s Atalanta registered their 11th consecutive league win with a 3-2 win over Empoli on Sunday to overtake Napoli at the top of Serie A ahead of the Christmas break.

The reigning Europa League title holders were two points ahead of Napoli, who temporarily fell behind with a 2-1 win at Genoa on Saturday.

Under the new agreement, Prime Video will be the exclusive national streaming partner for 21 WNBA games each season, including the WNBA Commissioner’s Cup Championship Game.

Prime Video will have special global streaming rights for the regular season games and the Commissioner’s Cup Championship Game. However, this deal does not include China, Japan, UK, Italy, Spain, Finland, and Germany.

This partnership started in 2021, with Prime Video streaming 16 WNBA games per season initially, which increased to 17 games in 2022.

According to streaming experts, the 2023 WNBA Commissioner’s Cup attracted the largest audience yet for Prime Video, nearly double the viewers from the previous year.

Charlie Neiman, Prime Video’s chief sports partnership officer, expressed excitement about continuing their special coverage of the WNBA, aiming to encourage and showcase these exceptional athletes to Prime members. He also mentioned their commitment to further expanding the coverage to reach more milestones and promote women’s sports.

“We are thrilled that Prime Video is maintaining a meaningful and consistent commitment to the WNBA and will once again provide an excellent platform to showcase our league’s world-class athletes in regular season and especially in the Championship Game streaming,” said Koli Edison, WNBA’s Chief Development Officer, speaking about the new, organized Commissioner’s Cup.
